In the event that a student's technology (camera, instrument, microphone, internet connection) malfunctions, the coach will wait for the student in the video call while the student resolves their technological malfunction. The coach will wait up until the end of the scheduled lesson time.


Coach Technical Malfunction

In the rare event that a coach's technology (camera, instrument, microphone, internet connection) malfunctions the student should wait for 10 minutes for the coach to resolve the issue. If the issue is unresolved after 10 minutes, the student may leave the lesson and receive a refund minus $4.00 for Stripe refund fees.


Why Only a Partial Refund?

  1. Because the coach showed up for the lesson and booked time out of their teaching and music-making schedule for the lesson.
  2. Because the coach was present for some duration of the lesson.

  • The student is refunded in full.

  • The student will be refunded the pro-rated amount for the time left in the lesson.
